Fandango is a turnkey racing boat with all newer sails (a year old or less) and a complete spinnaker rig.

All sails are Dacron. The newer mainsail has one reef point and a Cunningham and is partial battened and loose footed. The spinnaker is a full size symmetrical medium weight kite in good condition. All equipment to fly it is included. Launches from the companionway and we rigged the spin halyard to be raised on stbd side of mast. This boat is rigged nicely.
Fandango has 2 cabin top and 2 deck winches. The deck winches are Harkin 14 self tailing. There are also two sets of lead car tracks, cabin top for the jib and deck tracks for the genoas. There are 4 rope clutches on the cabin top. All lines lead aft. All running rigging is new or newer (no more than 3 years old). Adjustable backstay, boom vang, mainsheet traveler, etc... Everything in good working order.

Auxiliary Power is a 4HP Mariner 2 stroke long shaft outboard engine on a SS adjustable transom mount and the engine runs fine.
This boat is in exceptional condition and even comes with a Galvanized Trail Rite trailer with 7' tongue extension and hydraulic surge brakes. It is one of the nicest towing boats I've ever pulled. When I got her she had bottom paint and a barrier coat. I wet sanded and polished the hull back to Gelcoat for a beautifully smooth racing finish. Then I faired the keel. Because I dry sailed her with only a portion of her keel and rudder exposed to Lake Grapevine, I applied 3 coats of Interlux 2000E barrier coat and VC-17 bottom paint to those components.
This is an excellent sailboat that when raced PHRF, sails easily to her numbers and does very well against boats with a much lower rating. It is a consistent podium finisher with a few first place trophies to boot. I absolutely love this boat but it's time to move into a bigger one. It was a tough decision and one I hope not to regret. Whether racing around buoys or just cruising up and down the lake, these Capri 22's are tremendous fun and value. You will not go wrong with this boat!
