This is a family friendly center board sloop rigged design that features a large open cockpit that runs from the transom all the way up to the bow.
It enables the crew or skipper to easily tend the jib while remaining inside the boat.
You can safely walk up to the bow when launching the boat or bringing her back to the dock.
The boat will comfortably accommodate three adults or a couple with two children. She can be safely single-handed but has plenty of room for friends and family. Great stability and easy handling make her a great boat to learn in. The well thought out design makes her a boat you can enjoy for many years.
An ice chest sized compartment with hinged lid is built into the bow area. It helps to keep beverage containers, lunches and other items safely stowed when underway.
The boat sails well under jib and main and can also be sailed with main only. Both the rudder and centerboard kick-up enabling easy launching and retrieving. The boat can be landed on a sandy beach without difficulty.
The overall condition of boat, trailer and sails is very good and reflects the excellent build quality typically found with this designer.
The mainsail shows normal wear. The genoa shows very little wear.
The kick-up mahogany rudder and centerboard are encased in fiberglass and are in good condition.
The trailer is in good condition. The lights are new, tires are good and the bearings were recently re-packed with marine grease. Texas Parks and Wildlife does not require registration for sailboats under 14' long (without gas motors ). Will provide bill of sale with trailer.
The current version of this boat now sells for over $5300 plus trailer.
