Unlike the canoe yawls, Lucky is very stable and forgiving, due to its modest size rig and generous beam.
The split rig makes for easy sail handling and the ability to self steer to windward.
Bronze oarlock sockets are standard.
The sweeping sheer line makes for a dry and comfortable ride when the going gets rough.
Row or sail, she's nimble, easy to maneuver, and adorable and will surely charm.
Glued lapstrake construction. good initial and ultimate stability.
Planking and deck wood is marine grade meranti plywood.
All spars are spruce.
The fastenings and hardware fittings are stainless steel or bronze.
Masts are unstayed and folding, using a sleeve and hinge system.
The rigs are very simple to set up
