This '76 Columbia T-26 was bought new here in Minneapolis and sailed locally for a couple years when the owner set about a remodel project, described below.
As the project neared completion the owner suffered some profound health issues and the boat spent many years in outside storage until I bought it from his estate.
Due to the time lapse there was no oral or written history for the boat, but the more I researched things the more of a treasure it became.
The original project involved remodeling the interior, building and installing a bow pulpit with two anchor roller/chocks.The previous owner had a Stainless fabrication shop and hence there are some unique Stainless additions.
Wheel steering was installed, which I've removed since I prefer tiller steering, plus it really opened up the cockpit area.
There is WAY more to the story and I'll spare you that in lieu of a phone call. Almost everything that is needed to finish the project was bought out of the Vetus catalogue and is included. However there is some skilled work required yet.
