In order to expedite an already rather lengthy description, I'll refrain from construction details other than to say she's strip-planked, heavily fiber glassed (inside and out); I have a complete pictorial record for those of you who might be interested ... suffice to say, she's definitely beefy.

Please be advised, this vessel is not for everyone ... it won't sleep five, it doesn't have an enclosed head, it doesn't have full headroom, and it won't seat half a dozen people around the cockpit ... in fact, it doesn't even have a cockpit as such; it has a rather small foot-well. However, what it will do is get you through most unexpected and adverse weather conditions with a reasonable amount of safety and comfort ... what more could you ask of such a diminutive vessel, or any other vessel for that matter?

This was my dad's own personal retirement project prior to his recent death at age 96. It was my father's intention to have the vessel hauled up to Maine and then visit as many seaports as possible on his way down to the Florida Keys and, eventually, the Caribbean. That is exactly what it was designed for with its shallow depth and range under power of over 600 miles; it would be near perfect for the ICW and the thin waters further south.

Short Stack is currently tucked away on a flatbed trailer within the confines of her own boathouse located in Northern Arizona. Incidentally, the price is non-negotiable, since potential purchasers would be buying the vessel for less than the cost of the raw materials alone, five years of my dad's labor, basically gratis. At her present stage, I would consider her to be 95% complete. I will be glad to respond to all intelligent questions and inquires.
