I purchased this boat in 2005. It had been in uncovered storage for several years and needed some repair and repainting. Over the next two years, I had the repairs made and had the entire exterior repainted. The topside was repainted with Awlgrip and below the water line was painted with epoxy barrier coat and silicone epoxy based SpeedCoat. Since that point, the boat has been kept in covered storage. Before I had a chance to finish the boat and get it back in the water, my family started to grow. I now have four wonderful children, but no time for working on boats. So, I am now offering the boat for sale.
All of the standing rigging and running rigging is in great shape.
The mast and boom were also painted black with Awlgrip.
The main and jib sails were in great shape when I purchased the boat.
I had them professionally cleaned and had the UV sail cover on the jib replaced with a black cover so they are in like new condition.
There is a CDI jib roller furling which is also in great shape.
To get the boat sailing, some of the deck hardware and hatches need to be properly fitted and the mast and boom need to be set and rigged.
I had the interior of the boat completely gutted. Originally it was designed with a V-berth forward. I intended to update the interior and replace the V-berth with a full head and shower forward as done on the Corsair F31 ultimate cruiser design. I was going to recover all of the walls / bulkheads with carpet as was originally done. I still have all the interior and cockpit cushions.
The boat is sitting on a custom built trailer that was built in 2005, and I have a Mercury bigfoot 15 hp long shaft outboard motor that is brand new and never been run.
