Super nice Hobie 14 turbo, well cared for boat with rock solid hulls.
Boat was stored inside until 2012 and has been under a cover at Austin Yacht Club since then. All running and standing rigging is new, trapeze lines are new, trampoline is new, includes hobie "baby bob" mast float and a nice jib snorkel cover. This is the factory turbo with the Hobie 16 style dolphin striker, not the aftermarket kit.
I have also mounted a very nice sport locker cat box on the trailer for storage. Always trailered with rudders removed and stored with drain plugs out.
Main and jib are in great shape, always stored inside.
Main halyard is also new.
Trailer is a newer roadmaster with submersible hubs and larger wheels for highway driving. This is a very clean trailer that has never been near saltwater, accepts 1 7/8 hitch.
Boat is maintained/sailed regularly and I am the third owner, purchased right here on Sailing Texas a few years ago. I recently purchased a new boat and have decided to sell this one. It needs nothing, put it in the water today.
Clean examples of the Hobie 14 turbo are getting harder to find.
