I bought the boat in Jan 2014 and sailed it in the FL120 and Texas200 events this past year, as well as around our local lakes. Really good sailing boat and definitely fast. We led the fleet nearly every day during the Texas 200.
But the boat does not fit the camping cruiser style I am looking for, so willing to let it go and clear out the garage for a wooden homebuild.
I am looking for $3,400 for the boat w/ trailer.
The boat is located in Columbus, Mississippi
It is a 1985 Holder 20, hull # 226
20 ft LOA,
7' 10" beam,
1160 lbs.,
draft = 3' 7" board down, 1' board up.
Sail area 194 sqft.
New sails = UK main, genoa, and jib in 2013
New standing rigging in 2013
Mostly new hi-perf running rigging in 2013
It has a bulletproof stainless steel chain plate mod
New stainless motor mount on stern
The hull has some scuffing on the bottom right rear
The trailer is new below the frame in 2014: new axle, springs, shackles, wheels, tires, taillights.
SOLD. It is amazing how quickly the Holder sold ... 3 days after posting! There was a lot of interest in the boat generated from that single advertisement in Sailing Texas. The boat would not have sold so quickly otherwise!
