This is a beautiful 19' Allen Lightning , located in Brewster, Massachusetts, that has never seen salt water.
In it's previous life (Before I purchased it) , it was a club racer on a large lake in New Hampshire that was dry-sailed only.
Since I have owned it, it was used as a pleasure craft and moored on the largest lake on Cape Cod.
This retired race horse has provided endless hours of enjoyment and is still plenty fast, but this old race horse (Me) is moving to a location that no longer provides a place to sail her, much to my chagrin.
All of the running rigging has been replaced three seasons ago with high quality line and some standing rigging has been replaced with new where needed.
There are two sets of Shore sails, one of which has been professionally cleaned two seasons ago.
They are still crispy and look great.
There are two spinnakers, each looking virtually new and a spinnaker pole.
There is a Sailors' Tailor cockpit cover, a rudder cover, mast cover and an older transport cover included.
It has a stainless steel keel.
It has a beautiful wooden rudder.
There is an Allen float-on trailer in excellent shape, no rust, good tires included.
This is a really nice boat for its age that has a lot of life left!
It is thrilling to sail and extremely responsive .. Like driving a sports car on the water.
