Improvements to boat: hull freshly cleaned, serviced and painted this spring. Entire boat has been buffed and waxed this spring. She does not look like a 1998 model!
General condition: The boat is in good shape and the engine runs well. It will do about 16 miles per hour with this propeller which is almost new. This is an easy boat to sail, or use to tube. We have primarily used it on the Ohio River as a ski boat for our kids. It's surprisingly responsive and fast with the sails up. The water ballast system makes the boat very stable and trailering is very easy without a heavy keel to tow.
The mast is well designed and can be raised fairly easily without devices by one person. I have purchased MacGregor winch raising system, but have not put it together or used it yet.
She's ready to sail or cruise with.
We love the boat, but our kids are of an age where they want a little more speed for skiing and tubing.
Price: $10,500
SOLD. Alison - I sold the boat! I thank you for your service to the sailing community.
