Melges M-16, 1980
Original owners ordered built with a custom mahogany deck.
The boat was hardly used but stored poorly, creating deck damage about the gunwale and the deck finish.
All hardware is furnished as removed in excellent condition.
The mast, boom and wires are excellent.
All lines (ropes) need replacing.
The deck needs refinishing and some epoxy resin filling at the gunwale. One keel-fin was slightly ground down at the tip but can be repaired easily.
The sails are by UK Sailmakers, one set standard and one set racing.
Both sets show they were used only a few times.
One set is offered with the project and one set is for sale separately. Both are in sail bags.
The trailer is an excellent one by Seabird and has new tires and wheels four years ago.
The boat hold-downs are of wood and need replacing.
