This Merit was on a HydroHoist boat lift for about 10 years. I sold the lift earlier in 2014 as it required too much maintenance and was in need of a major overhaul. The bottom of the boat is in good condition as a result and there are no leaks! Some of the gel coat is faded, but will polish and clean with a little DIY. This boat is fast and has a huge cockpit and is super easy to move around the deck. In capable hands, this boat will compete well with J-24s and on the club level at a very affordable price! Whether you're thinking of racing or just casual sailing, Merit sailboats are great boats for the beginner to experienced sailers!
The boat is currently located at Eagle Mountain Marina on Eagle Mountain Lake. As a matter of full disclosure, the lake level at EM Marina is too low to move the boat out of the marina at this time. However, the marina has a dredger and they expect to have the marina dredged within a month.
