I purchased this boat from the original owners estate, it had sat unused for 25 years. It needed some work as any boat would after sitting that long. However the swing keel and rudder are in excellent condition. It even has the original, complete, not torn burnt orange 1980 cushions!
I have done the following:
Rebedded deck hardware
Rebuilt starboard chain plate attachment with epoxy resin and glass, now stronger than original
Replaced the scupper hose
Replaced bow eye
Painted the cabin white
All new running rigging
Had main sail converted to slugs instead of bolt rope, now works much smoother. Also had new battens installed. Has jib also. Both sails appear to be original but are in good condition, just stained.
Still to be done
Finish rewiring the running lights, or not
Give it a good buffing, or not
The trailer had no title so I took care of that with the state, now have a clean title. Added new lights, jack and hitch to the trailer
This boat is in good condition for it's age and is a great day sailor. One person can step the mast but it is best with two.
The outboard in the photos is not included, it is too short anyway. I do have an electric trolling motor that moves it right along that can be included.
Boat is currently located in Buena Vista but travel to the front range regularly and can bring it along.
