One of the most sound and seaworthy Pearson 365s you will find anywhere, our 1980 boat "Blame It On Buffet" won her Harvest Moon division last year, while placing 3rd overall in the Non-Spin class (against 109 Non Spin boats) and 7th overall in all classes against approximately 250 boats. She also won the 2012 Houston Yacht Club Offshore Regatta for Non-Spin pursuit Division, while corrected time had her beating all of PHRF non-spin, and all but one boat in PHRF Spin
Health issues of the owner force her sale this year.
The equipment list seen below was noted as new when she was last surveyed in as part of her nearly complete refit in 2008. She is not perfect, and is in need of a little work, but what boat isn't. I removed her new teak and holly soles when I discovered the plastic portals were leaking. That is why I bought all new stainless steel opening portals for her. Because she needs a topside painting, I have not put them on, or put the floor back in yet. She also needs new bottom paint. However, that being said, she could safely go out today and do an ocean voyage. She just wouldn’t look as spectacular doing it.
Given the work that needs done, I am asking $42,750. If I was able to do the work on her that needs done, you would be paying 55 to 60. Given her strength and condition, the price is incredibly reasonable.
