Great cruising boat that is easy to set up and sail. As with most S2 Yachts, the 7.3 is a very stable and well-built boat that moves well in small and big winds without needing a large sail inventory. Boat includes a new main sail (jib is serviceable), main sheet, halyards, tiller, cabin cushions, and recently serviced Hondo 4 cycle 5HP outboard.
Boat is in great sailing condition but could use some cosmetic detailing in cabin. OEM carpet lining has been removed. Bottom has recently been pressured washed. As expected with most boats this vintage, some blistering occurs....which I will include at a sell price of $3,500 price....bottom jobs would cost you about $1,000.
No gelcoat issues on hull or topsides. But, Lifeline bases appear to be loose and needs rebedding. Needless to say, the more work I do, price will be firm. If you are a diy, save move and offer me somewhere over $2,500....as it sits, and it's yours!
