1976 San Juan 21 MK II in very good condition with 3 jibs, main, spinnaker, trailer and 3.5 hp outboard ready to go.
Not a fixer-upper.
The San Juan 21 is a fractionally rigged sloop that's fun to sail, cruise and race.
Easy to launch, rig and sail with crew or single handed.
Easy trailering; towed 500 miles with a VW Passat.
Sails well under main alone.
Ballast: 400 lb swing keel - FG encased lead; clean airfoil design.
Fail-safe keel raise/lower system and bigger than standard keel cable.
Displacement: 1,500 lb.
Complete set of sails: Main and working jib in VG condition.
The 135% Dacron Genoa, 150% Mylar genoa, and spinnaker are like new.
Bags for all sails and new main sail cover.
Two rudders: Fixed and kick-up.
Kept on trailer and covered when not at berth.
Attractive simple interior with cushions for V berth and quarter berths.
All controls for main and jib run to cockpit.
Reefing points in main.
Mid cockpit traveller for improved main sail control.
Simple mast raising system - low stress and low effort even single handed.
3.5 HP Nissan 4 cycle outboard with low hours.
LED running lights, compass, Garmin depth meter/fish finder, new wiring and switches.
Power for lights, etc. supplied by 20 AH AGM battery with built-in charger and monitor.
Trailer and tires in very good condition and rewired with LED lights.
A wonderful boat but my requirements have changed.
