Santana 20, 1979 Sailboat and trailer, both in VERY good condition and a blast to sail!
Freshly painted two-tone blue hull and fresh nonskid on deck.
New bottom job with Interlux barrier coat and VC17 bottom paint.
4' keel gives her stability but she sails like a dinghy!
Includes very good mainsail and an older mainsail with reef points, genoa, jib, spinnaker and spinnaker pole. Lines and halyards replaced, and lots of new deck hardware. Stainless steel mast compression post plate installed.
Includes a knot meter, depth meter and stereo (but includes no battery so unsure if depth meter or stereo are working). Also includes new tiller extension, anchor and rode, battery box and fenders. Trailer is in great shape and includes a winch for boat retrieval and small tires on tongue for easy launch and retrieval. Tires are good. These boats haul easily with an SUV or van, which makes it fun to travel to area regattas. Custom mast bracket and motor mount included.
The boat is located in Kansas near Kansas City. However, delivery between Kansas City and Houston down the I 35 and I 45 corridor is negotiable.
Santana 20s are great fun to sail and inexpensive to own. These boats are still being made, sailed and raced coast to coast so there is lots of information, advice, and parts available.
