There was an issue with some Seawards of this era. Because of inadequate support, the arch under the mast tabernacle developed cracks. When I purchased the boat (2nd owner) no damage had developed. At a boat show, I talked to Nick Hake, owner and designer of Seaward, and he showed me how to reinforce the bulkhead so no damage would develop. I followed his guidance and no damage has occurred.
There is a repaired gelcoat area on the port side. The shops color match in the blue line just below the gunwale is not ideal so a color difference can be seen.
Minimal crazing of gelcoat, primarily where the cabin comes down to the foredeck.
The boat has been in salt water one time for 10 days. On the tow home, it was well rinsed by 10 hours of torrential rains while on the road.
