Siren 17, 1981
This 1981 Siren is in very, very good condition, as are the sails. Includes an excellent starting and running Mercury 4 hp 4 stroke motor with fresh oil change. Fuel line is new and has quick-connects on 3 gallon tank and motor ends. The boat is extremely clean.
Length 17'
Beam 6'8'
Draft 16"
Boat has always been covered since I have owned it. It is rigged and ready to sail, just add gas, water and wind. Lines and sheets are in good condition. All woodwork on the Siren has been redone and looks great; mast is easily stepped by one person. The cabin cushions are reversible and there's plenty of storage space in a series of pouches and other small storage areas in the cabin. Can sleep two if you both are not giants.
The trailer sits high and tows very well. The tongue can be extended for ease of launching and recovery. Has all new tie downs. Trailer tires are near new, the spare tire and wheel are new and never used. Hubs have zerts for easy greasing. Tail lights and hitch along with other trailer parts are new.
Comes with a folder that contains a LOT of information on the boat and trailer along with a Siren 17 manual printed off the internet. Also includes a new mushroom type anchor with rope, never used, and a ratty old Danforth type anchor.
The boat and trailer is licensed and registered in IL, has a 2 inch ball hitch with a flat connector for the wiring, and includes a round-to-flat adapter.
A good looking and sporty little boat ready to put in the water and sail away.
