Catalina 22 (new model) Wing Keel, 1988

  • Pop-top, 5hp Honda, roller furler, 5 sails, upgraded interior, new cushions, galvanized trailer

    Boat is clean, is solid in all aspects, especially regarding rigging, deck and hull, and most importantly it is a dry boat – no leaks.

    This boat is laid out and equipped as a cruising boat with many extras but was also a successful club racer under PHRF.

    The galvanized trailer has a stainless steel ladder attached at the bow for easy boat access during rigging and launching; 2 year old tires in good condition. 10 ft tongue extension.

    Engine: 5hp 4stroke Honda that is well tuned, has been very reliable, starts easily and runs well. Fuel consumption is about 18mpg on ¼ throttle or about 5mph.extended shift lever for easy access from the cockpit

    Sails:

  • Roller furler from CDI;
  • 150% genoa with blue Sunbrella cover, 135% genoa with Dacron cover, 135% genoa without a cover (for racing…), Loose footed main, Asymmetric spinnaker

    Home built dinghy (registered) for 2 persons that tows like a charm and fits on the trailer under the boat. Can be rowed or fitted with small outboard.

    While the home port of Good Times was at Lake Allatoona in Acworth GA, the boat participated in several Dauphin Island Races, was sailed along the GA coast, the northern Gulf Coast, on the ICW and offshore and she made a 1000 mile cruise from Panama City, FL to Knoxville, TN via Mobile Bay, the Tenn-Tom Waterway and the Tennessee River.
