Challenger 40' staysail ketch, 1974
Unfortunately, the owner of this yacht has passed. As such, this beautiful Challenger ketch is now available.
The ketch was the post-retirement toy of her owner. The entire electrical system was replaced, engine rebuilt, plumbing and pumps replaced, new batteries and wiring, hot water heater, new cushions, and the list goes on - with documentation and receipts for all!!!
This yacht is ready to sail now! Crank up the rebuilt Nissan SD22 diesel and motor away. Raise the newer sails and catch the wind. Open the coldplate fridge and grab a cold one.
There are a few cosmetic items still to do. The interior varnish and headliner still need to be finished, but More Fun shows very well in her present condition.
An extensive survey was conducted on 5/1/15, and is available to seriously interested parties.
The yacht is located in Rocky Point Mexico, about 45 minutes south of the border near Phoenix. An onsite yacht management company is there to preview the yacht should you desire.
