This boat was owned by Roy Bacon (look at old Chrysler sailboat publications), a member of the original Halsey Herreshoff design team.
All the authentic historical documentation comes with the boat.
The boat has the following features: 6HP Yamaha 4-stroke, complete new electrical system and electrical panel, inside LED lights, trailer, roller furling, mainsail lazy jack, room to sail 6 people, lewmar winches, swing keel, boom vang, 110 Genoa (excellent), 140 Genoa (excellent), mainsail (very good), asymetrical spinnaker (excellent), lines and halyards in excellent shape (many bought new last summer), port-a-potti, super hooker fluke anchor, 2 inflatable air mattresses.
This is an excellent boat and is kept in the water at Black Oak Marina on Cherokee Lake. The boat is a member of the Cherokee Lake Sailing Club and performed very well in club racing last year. We have moved close to the ocean and purchased an ocean going sailboat or we would keep it.
