Reluctantly offering my 2004 (Hull Nr 14) Elliott 770 sailboat. Being a bit of a sail freak and consequently in the multihull yacht business (owner of Aeroyacht Ltd.) AERO is in excellent condition.
Mostly new running rigging, new lightweight 2nd generation Flexiteak deck inside and outside, reconditioned electrical system and outboard engine, hull refinished and buffed, brand new epoxy Hydrocote bottom , Silvertex cushions, clear carbon covered main bulkhead etc... I have also reconditioned the trailer, new LED lights, had axels rebuilt all 4 new tires mounted and bearings renewed. The trailer is zink galvanized and is in excellent condition. AERO hit 120mph behind a Porsche on a 1000 miles road trip.
Inventory: 12 sails, sailbag, stereo, rope bags, electrical panel, 2 Tactic Racemaster instruments, solar panel, Nissan 2HP outboard, ground tackle, fenders, docklines, trailer. Everything on the boat works and functions as it should.
Mast raising and lowering is easy, 60 min launching
To do: There is about a 16" cosmetic fissure on the top most ply of a nonstructural bulkhead that is t beneath cockpit sole. 300$ should fix this.
Sail inventory: The boat comes with a complete set of working sails that are in various conditions. 5 main sails: carbon, smaller one kevlar and one dacron, 3 jibs spectra all same size, 4 spinnakers various sizes.
AERO 2 is powered by a perfectly running 4 stroke, 2013 Nissan Marine 2 HP outboard. Mostly starts on the first pull (always fresh gas)
The daggerboard case, which could be a problem area on many boats has been completely rebuilt using carbon reinforcing by previous owner. This area is completely trouble free.
We posses all the manuals and full documentations. The boat is registered in NY, so is the trailer, both have current valid stickers. Reluctantly selling for the same price I paid.
Price: 25,000 US$ boat on trailer
located in water: Long Island, Setauket Harbor, NY
