Fully restored in 2007, sailed for 1 1/2 years and has been in dry storage since. Restoration included removal of fiberglass deck skin and replacement of plywood core, new bulkhead, new aftermarket operable windows with screens, complete repainting above and below water line. There are several added custom features.
Interior restoration included: replacing all interior wiring and lighting, new custom counter tops, new stainless steel sink, teak floor with custom storage areas, new electrical cabinet which also houses the communications station. Ceilings in the main cabin are paneled and entire interior received a new coat of paint. Interior cushions were recovered as well.
Also part of the restoration was the complete rebuild of the trailer. Trailer was completely striped and rebuilt with new axels, brakes, wheels, braking system, electrical and an extendable tongue for shallow water launching. The entire trailer was hot dip galvanized so it could be launched anywhere without fear of rust.
The bow suffered a little cosmetic damage in a storm after the dock lines tore loose from the dock cleats. Damage was limited to a scuffed up bow and a slight gouge in the deck near the bow. The Damage on the deck has been re-epoxied and sanded and is ready for deck paint. The bow has been repaired and repainted.
This boat can be trailered anywhere and launched in less than an hour. Trailer has manual winch which is used to hoist mast into place before launching. Wife and I have raised mast and launched in 45 minutes.
Boat is in sailable condition as is, although topside could stand a fresh paint it is very clean and in good shape as is. All hardware, fittings, deck gear are in great shape. There is nothing you would have to do to this boat to put it in the water and start sailing her. Perfect boat for a weekend camper on large lakes or inland waterways on the coast.
