MacGregor 26s, 1995

This is the traditional sailboat, not the motorsailer with the large HP engine on the back

    The boat:

  • New running rigging

  • New Rudder Craft laminated mahogany and ash tiller
  • New centerboard bolt/hardware
  • New tri-band masthead navigation light & anchor light
  • New masthead light
  • New electrical bus panel

  • Bimini

    The sails:

  • Main, 110 Jib, 150 Genny, Gennaker, Spinaker w/pole
  • Main Jib and Genny are original. No holes or tears but they will need to be replaced for optimal performance. Definitely good enough to cruise with.
  • Gennaker and Spinaker are hardly used.

    The motor:

  • 1995 5HP Tohatsu 2-stroke
  • New fuel tank and line
  • Recently replaced impeller, spark plug, fuel filter and lower unit oil
  • Starts on the second pull

    The trailer:

  • New trailer lights
  • New front wheel/lift
  • Bearing and wheels about 3 years old
  • Trailer is the standard steel trailer with plenty of surface rust.
  • Serviceable and ready to roll.

The boat is not new and is not in perfect condition but it is a really nice boat. Some dings and nicks, all minor. Check online and you'll see that most MacGregor owners really love their boats. They are easy to sail, only draft 18 inches with the centerboard up, relatively quick, and with the swing up rudder and centerboard you never have to worry about grounding out on the bottom and damaging your boat.

I keep it slipped at Niceville, FL.
