Sailboat with Tanbark sails in good condition. 10.3 breadth, 5.0 draw. Last one to come off the line for commercial sale. If you are reading this you know what they go for. There are a couple for sell on line right now for over 20K. I love this boat and have sailed her all over the bay the last three years. I bought it from the original owner and it comes with all logs and a factory Yanmar engine manual.
The Good
Boat is solid with no soft spots on deck or hull and has a low hour bullet proof 2GM Yanmar diesel.
Tanbark sail in very good shape
New running rigging,
New sail covers,
Bronze self tailing winches,
Color GPS plotter with Bay maps,
CQR anchor,
6 person Viking life raft,
EPERB, Oil lamps
Shipmate coal burning heater,
Not so good
Original black hull gel coat is oxidized and needs a severe buff out. One side has a rub spot from the original owner keeping it in a slip (not rubbed through the gel coat).
I haul it each year at the end of the season so will need that.
Needs a new boot stripe.
Depth gauge works when it wants to. I have a vintage replacement that matches the hole exactly. I oiled the brightwork at the beginning of the year instead of using varnish and it turned the brightwork dark(see pics). :(
The teak is protected but will need refinishing.
First pic is at the beginning of the season to give you an idea.
All other pics are current with the boat at a friends mooring
Extras
Walker Bay Dinghy,
Mooring Ball, chain and mooring screw,
One gallon of matching bottom paint,
2 Teak Dorade Boxes and Cowl,.
Note: The boat has a holding tank with an electric pump out and macerator. Due to current regulations the power is disconnected. It also has a manual pump out that we use when far enough off shore.
