This boat was actually built around twenty years ago and had deteriorated badly. I rescued it just prior it going to the dump. I have restored it to its original condition. The original builder did an incredible job. He was a master craftsman and I could not stand to see the boat trashed. It was never registered thus I had to register it as a brand new homemade boat and named her Renevus (Restored).
The trailer is home built, freshly painted and has brand new tires with integrated bearings. She pulls very well.
Main sail is in fair condition however has a few stains.
Still has plenty of sailing left in her.
She did not have a jib but I have rigged a small headsail from a Montgomery 15 that works well.
This boat is all lumber no plywood.
Very heavy and very stable. She has amazed me with her sailing ability. I figured the weight would make her extremely slow but that is not the case.
In fact the weight causes her to carry momentum well.
Stem to stern is 16 feet. Bow Sprit to end of rudder is 20 feet. She fits in my garage.
She has a centerboard with about ten pounds of lead.
Located in Cibolo, Texas northeast of San Antonio.
