    Rare boat. One of only 75 Kim Swarbrick-designed Spacesailers built under license in Missoula, MT

  • 1100 lbs. displacement
  • 400 lbs. ballast in fin-keel
  • LOA 18-ft.
  • LWL 16-ft, 2-in.
  • Draft 3-ft.
  • Beam 7-ft.
  • Sail area 120 sq. ft. Masthead rigged
  • Sails in reasonable condition. Main and hank-on jib
  • 4-h.p. Nissan motor, 2002, carburetor replaced 2013.
  • New cooling impeller Aug. 2015 and function-tested. All works excellent. Appears to be a low-hour motor.
  • Motor mount hardware replaced and motor mount backing upgraded 2013
  • Rudder and rudder attachment re-built with stronger hardware 2012
  • New grab rails 2013
  • Grab rails and other brightwork refreshed with teak oil April, 2015. Fresh coat Aug. 2015
  • New tires 2012
  • New trailer bearings 2012
  • Companionway door and other brightwork refinished 2013
  • Some hardware re-bedded with stronger backing
  • Stronger, well-bedded and backed bow cleat added, 2013
  • New custom-made cockpit cushions, 2013

  • Cockpit drain plumbing replaced in 2013 vStrong hardware added for jacklines. Removable, custom-built jacklines included with boat sale.

  • E-Z Loader trailer, with tongue extension and third wheel/hub for strap launching
  • Spare tire and hub Trailer designed specifically for fin-keel boat makes launch & retrieve very easyalso serves as third wheel for strap-launch
  • She has been stored about 50% of the time I have owned her in a pole barn
  • She is easy to rig and handles very well under sail
  • She is built very strong with 5/32 over-sized fixed rigging (standard Swarbrick specification)
  • All running rigging serviceable
  • No battery or running lights
  • She has one area, aft starboard, that suffered some type of impact and was adequately-repaired by previous owner
  • Bottom paint serviceable but showing signs of wear. Painting needs depends on intended use.
  • Cast iron keel recently partially stripped and painted to check rust while waiting for boat to sell
