Hobo is a rare and very early C-type, West Wight Potter 14.
1969, Hull #17.
The entire boat was professionally restored in 2005 by Future Marine in Upland, CA. included completely refurbish, wood spars revarnished, new cushion covers and new gel coat.
New lexan ports, new hatches and covers (main cabin hatch is weathered), custom stainless steel mushroom vents.
Cruise 'N' Carry Outboard with very few hours on it. Stainless steel retractable motor mount.
This boat is immaculate. Completely watertight and ready to sail.
Comes with a hardly used set of tanbark sails, jib, and Gunter main with one reef from Odyssey sailmakers. The older set is also available.
All lines lead aft. Jib winch on the coach roof. Heavy duty galvanized trailer, new tires, bearings replaced. She has a self-draining cockpit.
Also comes with anchor (with chain and rope).
The only reason I am selling Hobo is because I have a new addition to my family and no longer have much time to sail.
Boat and trailer are titled. Located in Folsom, CA.
There are only a handful of C-type Potters in the US. Hobo is ready for an owner who can appreciate such a historic gem.
