1990 West Wight Potter 15 in dry dock for over 15 years after only a few years of light use - always in fresh water - no corrosion! Enjoyed sailing Colorado, Arizona & New Mexico lakes - including some overnights in the cabin.
This boat has been kept covered & under carport for some years, or outside in mild southern New Mexico weather some other years.
All cushions & accessories have been stored indoors - including motor & rudder/tiller.
Some sun damage to decorative vinyl hull trim (stripes) & to vinyl sheathing on stainless rigging (shrouds, etc.).
Otherwise, everything is well-maintained & sound.
W.W.P. 15 is a legendary sailboat, famous for its stability (positive flotation, self-righting & self-bailing) & ease of single-handed launching & sailing, although two 6'6" cabin berths beg for couple sailing. Easily towed (boat & trailer under 900 pounds) & compact enough for any garage (see specs below).
New retail price is now over $15,000. Do a Google search on "West Wight Potter 15" for more history, lore & details.
