The 6.7 was one of the three "Grand Slam" models built by S2 Yachts.
The "Grand Slam" boats (in 5.5, 6.7 and 7.9 meter lengths) were targeted toward sailors who wanted a trailerable boat with good manners and good performance.
The S2 6.7 is somewhat unusual in that it has a vertically-retractable lead ballasted keel.
The keel lifts straight up (using a provided cabintop winch) into a watertight trunk for trailering or shallow draft maneuvering.
So the boat offers the best of both worlds: easy trailering and keelboat performance under sail.
This sailboat is in good overall condition.
It has Harken windward-sheeting traveler, Raymarine depth/speed instrumentation, and Interlux epoxy barrier coat with black bottom paint.
Adjustable SeaDog motor mount. Lewmar 2-speed primary winches.
The interior cushions are in good condition and are stored off the boat.
The sail inventory (also stored off the boat) is quite good, with everything from a small jib for breezy days to a huge genoa for light air.
There are 2 North laminate headsails in very good condition, plus a symmetric spinnaker and spinnaker pole.
Two dacron mainsails are also included. Has porta-potti, anchor, bilge pump, fenders, PFDs, winch handle.
The boat has a clear Texas title in my name, and current Texas boat registration.
The trailer has current Texas tag/registration in my name.
