For sale is a 1977 Catalina 27 Tall Rig with the dinette cabin configuration. The boat includes two headsails, one main, and a spinnaker (as well as a whisker pole and a spinnaker pole). The main and headsails are in great shape, and are still crisp. I have never used the spinnaker, so I'm not sure what kind of shape its in. I believe it is in decent shape. The dinette drops down to form a double berth. The cabin has around 6 feet of standing headroom, so it is comfortable to spend an extended time in the boat while camping or overnighting.
All cabin lights are functional. The lights in the main cabin have been upgraded to LED fixtures. The boat includes a Dometic "flushable" porta-potty style head. All cabin cushions are included (except the cushion that "completes" the v-berth.
The following items are also included:
Extra tiller
Tiller cover
Mainsail cover
Two winch handles
Outboard tiller extension
New 750gph bilge pump
2 new marine fire extinguishers
2 new 12v SLA batteries
Throwable cushion
New pack of USCG-approved PFDs
Swim ladder
Solar panel
Solar charge controller
Butane stove
Disclosures:
The bulkhead-mounted compass needs to be replaced (if that matters to you). All brightwork needs to be oiled or varnished. I have been slowly working on removing the existing varnish so it is ready for oil. There are two bottles of teak oil and some brushes on the boat. I just haven't had a chance to do it. The vinyl coating is peeling off of the lifelines in some spots, which leaves a few rough areas. The solar system is not yet functional. There is a voltage across the solar panel, but it may need to be replaced. The solar charge controller is new, however. The through-hulls were capped by a previous owner, so the sink is not currently functional.
