Hobie 33 1984,
Chaos is a Hobie 33, ready to race available immediately. She is located on the Chesapeake Bay just North of Annapolis.
We had her Awlgripped a beautiful red with a white boot stripe this Spring by Gibson Island Boatworks.
They also stripped and applied primer and a racing bottom of Baltoplate.
She got all new standing and running rigging in 2005 when we purchased her. Most deck hardware upgraded then.
Standing rigging is Die form wire. Carbon spinnaker pole.
Sails inventory is all Quantum except for a Doyle blade.
Mainsail is new 2016 (cool black laminate).
#1 is 2014 and # 2, spinnaker and blade are slightly older.
Wednesday evening races are all we have fond with the boat for the last number of years. The boat is lightly used and in very good condition. We are only selling because partners in the boat are moving.
Chaos is a lift keel boat but we have kept it down.
We have replaced the vital shroud connector blocks with custom stainless ones. Electronics are new B&G. Speed , depth and wind.
Wind needs to be hooked up but masthead transponder is new.
This is a great boat with exceptional speed downwind. Fun to sail and a real bargain at $15,600.
