Tired of sailing a boat that has to stay in the channel or sail 2 miles OFF the beach in order to not run aground ??
This Hunter can sail right UP TO THE BEACH in waist deep water, just throw over the anchor, 2.25 ft draft wing keel.
NO CENTERBOARD to break off, cables to break or get stuck full of barnacles !
The headroom in this boat is amazing for it's size - about 5ft, easy to spend the weekend on
A Catalina 22 looks like a LITTLE toy compared to this boat
Has 2 mains and genoas in good shape, one mylar headsail has some life in it
Boat is not a stock slug, was/is setup to race - go fast / tall KENYON mast.
I re-rigged the whole boat to be easier and faster to handle ;
Nice Harken roller bearing mainsheet traveller - replaced the oem junk traveller
BIG winches - Barient 22's - 2 speed - threw the original tiny winches in the TRASH !
NEW GARHAUER mainsheet roller bearing blocks
Nice genoa tracks for sheeting headsails
Ritchie BN-202 5 inch red card compass
All new lines, New headstay
New stainless steel stanchions
Includes original portable little galley with sink
SOME work needed
Could easily be in the water in a week

Couple cushions need recovering
Teak needs sanding, only 4 pieces on deck
Interior is in ok shape but needs varnishing
Deck has some spider cracks, nothing structural
Throw the boat in the water and sell the trailer for $600, sailboat trailers for boats this size are in big demand !
This modern Hunter is the era where boats made in the US were starting to copy the French designs, why ?
Because they were a lot more user friendly, HIGH TECH and nicer boats.
Have a line on a nice airplane I'd like to buy so the boat must go
It's a great deal for the money. You can't buy a day sailor for this price !
