The Hunter 240 is a water ballast swing keel boat.
If you are looking for something that is easy to maintain and sail, this is for you.
Very easy to tow and can go from trailer to sailing in under half hour.
It is very convenient to be able to pull out of the water for service, bad weather, etc.
I have owned the boat for 2 years and it has been great, but I am looking to move up to a larger vessel so me and the family can do extended stays onboard.
The 240 is great for just a weekend "camp out", but we are looking for something that can support us for at least a week.
This boat has been well taken care of and has only a few minor scratches here and there, which is going to happen if you use a boat for its intended purpose-to get out on the water and enjoy it!
I just pulled it out of the water for the winter applied new antifoul coating and performed seasonal maintenance on the Nissan outboard.
I am willing to consider trades for larger boat if you are looking to downsize; preferably 27ft to 30ft.
