Hunter 240, 1998

  • Length: 24 feet
  • Type of keel: Swing

The Hunter 240 is a water ballast swing keel boat.

  • If you are looking for something that is easy to maintain and sail, this is for you.
  • Very easy to tow and can go from trailer to sailing in under half hour.
  • It is very convenient to be able to pull out of the water for service, bad weather, etc.
  • I have owned the boat for 2 years and it has been great, but I am looking to move up to a larger vessel so me and the family can do extended stays onboard.
  • The 240 is great for just a weekend "camp out", but we are looking for something that can support us for at least a week.
  • This boat has been well taken care of and has only a few minor scratches here and there, which is going to happen if you use a boat for its intended purpose-to get out on the water and enjoy it!
  • I just pulled it out of the water for the winter applied new antifoul coating and performed seasonal maintenance on the Nissan outboard.
  • I am willing to consider trades for larger boat if you are looking to downsize; preferably 27ft to 30ft.
