It is really a nice boat and if you have not seen a Hunter 260 you need to see one.
I have owned it for 9 years and every year I have added something.
Both sails are 3 years old and it has two reef points in the main.
It even has self tailing winches, I have never seen a 260 with those.
It also has a GPS that will show speed, depth and location.
The radio has a mic out side that lets you hear the radio and talk, called a ram mic.
In the Galley you will enjoy the two burner stove and the stainless steel sink, most 260 have a plastic sink and a one burner.
It has a electric pump for the water, no more pumping in either the galley or bathroom sink.
The rear berth is a queen size and very comfortable.
The table will seat 8 with no problem.
The table swings around and is used as part of the v berth.
The head features an electric pump head.
The trailer is included, it is a galvanized trailer,..
The motor is a 4 year old Nissan with electric start with charging system and extra long shaft (25") so it does not pop out if you get out into some rough seas.
Most have a 20" shaft will pop out all the time.
The rudder has a cam cleat that pops out if you hit something and does no harm to the rudder.
Also it has one of the best designed mast raising systems ever.
They say one person can do it, but I like to have two.
I am sure you will love this boat as much as we do.
In the last 9 years the boat has only been in the water about 4 months every year and under roof on the trailer for the other 8 months.
April 30th it went on the trailer till late October.
It shows in the condition of the gel coat.
Do not get this mixed up with the older Hunter 26, there are a lot of differences.
