I am needing to downsize after losing my mate, so my Macgregor 25 plus
trailer is for sale, asking $4,000.
The boat is all original and has been stored on the trailer under cover when not sailing.
It was fresh water sailed on the Great Lakes before coming
south.
It is in exceptionally clean original condition and has no spongy decks. Due to the boat being dry stored when not in use the hull topsides and bottom are in original unpainted condition.
The Mac 25 is one of the most roomy, comfortable, lightweight, unsinkable
trailerable sailboats. We have cruised it without engine for years
All the Gulf Coast in stages from Carrabelle to Cat Island, and LakeMartin, Lake Eufaula, Chattahoochee/Apalachicola River, Suwanee River,
Alabama River, St Johns River, Florida Keys and Savannah Georgia to Beaufort
S Carolina. It qualifies for free registration in Florida.
It can sail in 18 in. of water with the cast iron centerboard raised, so is ideal for our shallow bays. It has a raising roof and screened cover for full standing headroom. Sails- main, working jib and genoa jib. Enclosed head with porta-potty. It is ideal for a couple or a couple with one or two children.
Trailerable means no marina slip fees, less maintenance, expanded cruising areas, and boat can be used as a travel trailer at campgrounds.
It can be seen in Milton Florida, just north of Pensacola.
