Seaward Slipper 17, 1986
Sharp looking stable small sailboat great for beginners or those moving down. Large comfortable cockpit. Small cabin. Shallow draft fixed fin keel 425# ballast with centerboard so nothing to climb over. Easy to rig and launch. Tows great on a nice trailer.
Selling for widow of a friend. This is not a perfect boat and is not priced as one either. Some minor work to mast support and rigging will be needed to prepare for first sail. Some cosmetic work is needed (paint job) too but that won't stop it from sailing.
Sails fair. Jib has repairable tear.
Comes with a like new 2 h.p. Honda outboard.
This same boat to be reviewed in Good Old Boat Magazine - should be in issue #110.
Bonus - if you don't know how to sail, and buy this boat, I'll provide a lesson to get you going.
