Nice and solid 24' sailboat, with salty lines and bowsprit.
Our 1982 Sovereign 24 is the deep (3'-7") keel model (more common is the 2'-7" shoal keel).
The deep keel version goes to weather well without heeling much.
Trailerable, but sits up pretty high (and we do not have a trailler).
Tiller steering, 5'-7" of head room, galley, alcohol stove, enclosed head (portable) and a 20 gal fresh water tank. Interior woodwork is nicely done. Roomy for a 24-footer, sleeping for two is cosy; cramped for four.
People have said it's the biggest 24-footer they have ever seen.
Comes with an fairly new 6HP Tohatsu Sail Pro Model outboard (2014 with around 20h on it).
The outboard has an "ultra-long" shaft (25"), has a high thrust sail drive propeller to give the boat extra power and includes a 12V, 60W, 5A charging system.
