I have a 26 foot sailboat made by Mcvay Yachts out of Florida. It is hull number 15 out of 22 made.
Believed to be one of four still sailing.
I have been working on her for years and now have to pass her on to let someone else finish her.
Long long list of work done.
Small list of things to finish.
Decent main with two reef points, suit of three headsails from kerr sails are really nice including a crispy storm.
I rebuilt the omc sail-drive three years ago but she didn't want to start last summer, good compression, simple 15 horse two stroke inboard.
I haven't had the time to fiddle with it.
I have the manual in hard copy and disk. New folding stainless two blade prop I have yet to put on.
New radio not installed. Two burner stove, sink needs new pump but has two 15gal tanks for water, ice box, new porta pottie, Edson wheel, Barlow self tailing jib winches, all lines ran to cabin top with a dedicated winch, another winch on mast, jiffy reefing, lazy jacks, etc. She has been to the Bahamas and is truly a classic lady inside and out. Mostly all teak and mahogany interior. Need her to go to a capable owner that will finish what I have started.
Enjoy sailing her while you work as I did.
motor has been repaired and is running like a top
Crappy three axel trailer that needs rebuilt goes with her. She can stay in my slip at hefner until renewals in april.
I have the only slip with a patio area that you could probably take over and keep her where she is. I need no help selling but always help sailing
If you have the means to purchase her, capability to finish her and would like to know more, I look forward to hearing from you.
