Builder: Laguna Yachts
Laguna 18' sailboat with trailer and 4.5 HP outboard in excellent condition. I'm the second owner of this boat which has been stored indoors most of it's life and seldom sailed (only on fresh water). This Laguna was custom ordered from the factory with a drop axle trailer and slightly shorter stanchions and pulpits to fit through a standard height garage door. Boat weighs only 1500 lbs. so it can be trailered by smaller cars or trucks and put in your garage at the end of the day. Wide beam of 8' makes it a very stable boat and maximizes the interior space. Easily sleeps two adults or a couple adults and kids.
Includes lots of features not normally found on a smaller boat like halyards led aft to the cockpit, pelican hooks on the lifelines, large aft storage/fuel locker and spares. Sails (main & jib) are as new condition and are blue, white and purple in color which makes a really nice looking boat under sail. The boat includes everything you need to sail today.
Trailer was custom ordered for the boat to sit lower so it trailers very well and makes for dryer launching. Also includes a tongue extender for shallower ramps. Would make an excellent boat for an extended road trip if you wanted to sail many of the US lakes that you can't get to with larger boats with the shoal draft and easy launching.
Comes with Johnson 4.5 HP extra long shaft outboard motor also in excellent condition.

Just a nice looking well built small sailboat in excellent, excellent condition. Laguna used all hand laid fiberglass back in the day and it shows in the boat's appearance. Consider that a new Sanibel 18 or West Wight Potter 19 is nearly $20k these days before any options and you realize how much work goes into building a quality small boat. This one has never been bottom painted or modified in any way. It looks nearly new and is ready to go to take sailing.
