Designer: Nathaniel Green Herreshoff. designed the Biscayne Bay 14 for the shoal waters of Florida. About a dozen were produced by the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company in the 1920s.

The hull is double-chine marine plywood planking on solid wood white oak frames, floors, keel and stem.
Deck and floorboards are cedar.
Coamings are varnished mahogany.
Spars are varnished Sitka spruce.
Hardware is Herreshoff or Wilcox Crittenden bronze pieces similar to that used on the original boats.
This Biscayne Bay 14 has successfully completed builder's sea trials and awaits a new owner.
