The boat is in typical condition of any overlooked sailboat: a compound/wax job & teak attention will go a long way towards shining it up, and some investment in reinvigorating the lines as well should be expected.
A less typical detail about the boat that should be taken into consideration is refinishing the interior woodwork.
The Hunter held rain inside it for a period of time, causing mold damage near the footing of the interior furniture.
The interior woodwork has been completely sanded and treated with a bleach solution to remedy & halt the mold damage; the next step would involve a few options depending on one’s time & commitment to level of restoration: 1) either paint over the wood, 2) stain & finish the wood- accepting discoloration in certain areas, or 3) fabricate some replacement furniture entirely.
The functionality of the boat has not suffered any unusual compromise based on our own awareness of the boat, though the interior aesthetic would benefit from some love if you really want to impress your first mate ;)
