Original main and jib, reconditioned by Sail Care several years ago, and only lightly used since then
Trailer included, Pacific. Serviced last summer, and has not been used since.
New bearings, races, seals, and lights.
Motor included, 2005 Honda two horsepower, four stroke (model BF2D)
No electrical system
Porta Potti and whisker pole included
Factory options include dark blue hull, matching stainless steel cleats, opening stainless steel portlights, teak plywood hatches on all interior storage compartments, and two position rear mast carrier
Added by me:
compass mounted on bottom hatchboard, jib downhaul, cross-sheeted jib (enables trimming jib at windward cam cleat), all lines led aft through cam cleats, mast-mounted windex, topping lift, white painted mast and boom, cam cleat for centerboard led through two blocks (enables one-hand raising and lowering of centerboard), tiller tamer, and tiller extension
Gelcoat professionally reconditioned three years ago, but minor scratches still apparent on close inspection, as is one large scratch below waterline. No cracks or damage.
Always garaged, never stored at mooring or anchorage
Now that we are empty nesters, we are downsizing, so my beloved Montgomery 15, 'Bella,' is up for sale.
I am the original owner and ordered her from the factory with attractive options, listed above.
She is a wonderful sailboat - lively and responsive - and absolutely beautiful, with her dark blue hull and stainless steel portlights and cleats: if you have a glass of wine and squint really hard, she looks like a proper miniature yacht.
She always receives compliments from fellow sailors.
SOLD. I enjoy looking at the ads each day. Keep up the great work, Alison!
