NOTE: Price reflects my busy schedule and remote location from the boat which have jointly conspired to facilitate a extremely attractive sale price. This is NOT a project boat. Cash only - no owner financing.
This classic center cockpit, shoal draft Morgan OI ketch has an encapsulated full keel and keel-stepped masts. This is definitely not a project boat although there are several things to do before using her.
Best reason to purchase? The practically new engine (Perkins 85 HP engine with approx. 21 hours), reconditioned sails, rebuilt hydraulic steering system, new shaft, new fuel tank and the over-all good condition of the boat. Deck and hull painted in late 2000s. All of the expensive "to-do" items have been addressed and completed on this boat. Cosmetics and a few mechanical to-dos remain.
All canvas - dodger/bimini, sail covers in great condition.
Separate marine air conditioning for forward and aft cabins.
Standing rigging in good condition.
Hull and deck painted in late 2000s and in above average condition.
Late 2000s cushions with little use and in excellent condition.
Decks are solid - no known soft spots.
I purchased her in 2014 and between August of 2014 and July 2017, I have spent $30K in professionally done repairs and improvements - I have receipts/documentation for all work done.
