This is really a unique sailboat. It is great for everything from an evening sail on the lake to a multi-day salt water adventure. There is even a couple who lived aboard for five years, sailing the boat from Florida to Argentina and (nearly) back, having a baby along the way.
These boats have a number of great features. First, is how quick and easy it is to rig the boat at the launch ramp. Just drop the masts in (the sails are already furled around them), attach the rudder, and you are ready. Second, is how easy they are to heave-to for a break or to reef when the wind gets up. Third, is the open center cockpit space that is made possible by having lee-boards rather than a centerboard - this makes for a lot of room for lounging or sleeping for a boat of this size. Fourth, they are extremely well-built. Fifth, it is light enough to be towed by a regular car. And finally, they look great.
