This Blackwatch boat is one of the last Dave Autry boats built - only 88 were built.
The Blackwatch is a 22 ft. long, and 8 ft. beam boat having only a 2 ft. draft due to its shoal draft full keel.
The barn door ruder and shoal keel make for great handling in light and heavy winds.
This boat is unique in that its design is a smaller scale of a "blue water" vessel built to cross oceans.
Also, features bronze fittings, mahogany, tempered glass
sail configuration (a double-reefed main, self-taking staysail, flying jib), and rigging (heavy gauge stainless, quality blocks,
Dacron lines - makes boat ideal for single handing).
Boat cabin interior offers two-bunks, table, small galley which has stainless steel galley sink with hand pump and a 15 gallon fresh water tank, stove, ice chest and enclosed portable head. All the wood trim on the boat is made of Honduras Mahogany.
Also, included is a MotorGuide Trolling Motor.
Comes with a dual-axle trailer trailer, full-sail inventory, stainless steel rigging, double-reef main- head sail-and stay sail, jackets, lines, etc.
This Blackwatch Sailboat is definitely a collector's find.
