Fortitude has been owned by the current owners for over 15 years and is in great shape. The skipper of the boat is a retired engineer and he has maintained the boat both personally and professionally.
The boat is currently out of the water and on its trailer but was used sparingly last year.
Due to their limited use of the boat, the owners have decide to sell Fortitude.

The boat is 26' 10 long, 8'10" wide, and has a fin keel.
The draft is 4 feet. It is documented.

Sails - The boat has two 135 genoas, two mains and a spinnaker.
The newest genoa and main were purchased in May 2011.
The other two and the spinnnaker came with the boat when it was purchased in November 2002.
None of the sais have any tears or patches.
The newest sails have been very infrequently used in the last 3 years. There is a Harken roller furling unit for the head sails.
The original curved mainsheet traveler has been upgraded with a 6 to 1 purchase Garhauer traveler. The main sheet also has 6 to 1 purchase which combined provides and very manageable mainsheet combo.
Power - The boat is powered by a 14 HP Universal diesel with 1100+/- hours on the engine.
It has wheel steering and a folding prop and all engine controls are on the binnacle.
Two batteries and a built-in battery charger power the electronics.
The boat has a protective barrier coat on its bottom and was recently repainted with VC17.
In addition, its sides were cleaned and pollished.
The deck has the two tone coloring which adds to its great oveall appeal.
The boat has a pressurized water system which supplies the faucets in the galley and head in additon to water for the flushable head.
There is a alcohol stove in the galley.
Cabin cushions are in good shape. Bimini,cockpit table and two cushions are also included.
The Nexus navigation instruments on the boat consist of a knot meter, wind speed and water depth. The boat has an AM/FM stereo radio and a separate built-in VHF radio.
There are two removalable seats on the rail in the aft of the cockpit ("Princess Seats").
The trailer was custom built for the boat and features removable keel guides and extension.
It is available separately for $ 2,800.
