The BAD
Decks are soft, not a safety issue, not a smart repair investment... Very workable
Pretty much bare bones interior, maybe some cushions and the settee table
Rodent damage to hank on jib while the sails were in shed storage, will need a new one, can be had under $100...
Other misc
Comes with Johnson 15 that needs impeller/other minor work
New bilge pump and switching gear and sensor
Some data if needed:
22 foot length
7 foot 9 inch beam
3000 lb displacement
725 lb cast iron swing keel
Draft 1' 11" (23") with keel up, 4' 6" (54") with keel down
I bought the boat for $1k, put 100 hrs into the hull, keel, trunk, rudder, bought trailer... Sailed the heck out of her and had a blast... She's fast for a 22, bare bones and SUPER fair hull... (I put in far too many hours fairing for a $1k boat)
Easily handled by one person and great for overnight trips. Now I'm moving, and she's got to go-go-go... The trailer alone is worth $750-1k... Please don't bring a lowball offer... She's a solid boat for under $1k... First $880 drives her away...
