She's fully functional and ready to cast off all lines now. I sailed her from Seabrook Marina to the Houston Yacht Club just a week ago with the prior owner.
It has a brand new bottom job and hull paint (see pictures) that cost me over $3k.
The boat is an Ericson 25. The hull is solid. Tons of headroom and space below deck. The rigging is in good condition. There are no holes/rips/tears in the sails. The outboard motor runs well.
About a week after I bought this, the type boat that I wanted to buy to race came available. I was going to give this one to my mother who lives near a lake in Dallas but shipping is a pain and she wants something local to her. So now this one is an "extra," and I don't really need my own fleet. At $5,500 she is priced way below NADA especially given the condition of the hull and new hull paint/bottom job.
